The Story Behind the Piece: Like many of my "creative children," this didn’t start out as wall decor. I originally planned for it to be a round fancy pillow. However, as I added row after row, I realized it would be beautiful as a wall hanging.

Once the crochet was finished, the inner section reminded me of a "Water Globe." I reached for my bead and button stash to build on that inspiration. The more colorful and eclectic it became, the more joyful and alive it felt to me. I finished it with a double row of beads around the outer edges and a matching hanging loop to tie the whole design together.
