Born from a 14-hour session of focused "Crone Mother" rebellion, this Duality of Turtle pendant is a mental illustration made tangible. While others seek machine-cut uniformity, I intentionally chose irregular glass seed beads. Like us, these beads are not uniform; they are beautiful because of their unique shapes and the story they tell when woven together.

The Story & Symbolism

Inspired by my granddaughter, my "turtle-y turtle," this piece represents the see-saw of emotions we all carry. It features two turtles in a Yin and Yang position—one vibrant and meadow-toned, the other deep-sea blue. It is a reminder of the balance between withdrawing into our shells for sanctuary and swimming through the world with joy.
