The Mystic Shield Pendant Necklace is crafted with the magical intention of a “mirror spell.”

A little background:
Over the years, I have created and worn many necklaces that had a reflective surface incorporated into the pendant. Some were bold and eye‑catching, others — like the Mystic Shield — were more dainty and “casual but classy.”

The reflective surface always served as a mirror for a simple mirror spell that I could wear without anyone realizing I had energetically shielded myself.

To the everyday person, it is nothing more than a unique piece of jewelry, but in my hands it becomes a tool of intention.

How it works is simple: whatever is sent your way simply gets reflected back to the sender. Good wishes return good; bad is rejected and returned to the sender. No more, no less. Energetic shield and balance.

About the Mystic Shield Pendant Necklace:

I had a reflective button in my stash box, which literally fell into my lap as I was digging around for a couple of buttons to sew on a completely unrelated project. I had just reflected on all the good things and the difficult things that had happened throughout 2025. My mind was turned inward and outward at the same time, and I contemplated which mystical or magical piece of jewelry I wanted to create next.

This button was literally the sign that a new mirror pendant was waiting to be created and put into service.

As I contemplated what style I wanted it to be, the following words came into my mind and gave me the attributes it was to hold and reflect for the wearer. These were the words:
•     classy
•     appearing dainty but powerful
•     shimmering in darkness
•     magic hidden in plain sight
•     distortion and reflection
•     intentionally underestimated
•     walking the shadow

The colors I chose for the beads reflect this: black seed beads, bronze-colored beads, shimmering glass beads, and chromatic dark bugle beads.

The button I mentioned above, woven in as the centerpiece of the pendant, requires a close look to see the reflective quality at first — which makes it perfect.

Anywhere you want. It fits in wherever you go. It’s just one of those pieces of jewelry that is beautiful without screaming, “look at me!”
